Analyst Controls Assurance

• Controls Assurance Analyst is to assist the BU Operational Risk & Compliance Team in executing the Annual Controls Assurance Plan.

• Undertake process walkthroughs and reviews of documentation for DE Assessments to ensure the BU Controls are designed correctly to prevent / detect the risk.
• Undertake the OE Testing, utilising one or more of a few different techniques, which can include reperformance of the control through sampling, in line with the Operational Risk & Compliance Policy
• Understands how own team connects to other teams and fits into the broader organisation, specifically Controls Assurance Analysts in business units.
• Strong understanding of immediate internal and external customers.

What you'll need to succeed

• 3-4 years' experience in a combination of operations, compliance and risk management, as well as

• Banking experience, preferably in a risk or compliance role
• Specific Operational Risk assurance experience desirable
• Sound report writing, presentation and verbal communication skills at all organisation levels.
