How will I help?

You will be accountable for providing key inputs to the Transaction Monitoring Program (TMP) and identifying any opportunities to develop and improve detection scenario logic to better address the risks being targeted for complex products. In addition, you will respond to ad hoc requests for information from key stakeholders around the bank including offshore MLROs.

As a Manager you will assist in the design and calibration of new TM rules working closely with the Financial Crimes Analytics team. You will review suitability of new risk indicators for automated TM as identified from Financial Crime typology papers and maintain key registers, workflows and other documentation to support the end-to-end governance for the broader TMP pipeline and traceability.

You will support the Executive Manager in producing required reporting for governance forums and reporting. This includes working closely with Line 1 Risk functions (including Financial Crime and Fraud Prevention operations teams) in reviewing and assessing TMP alerts and providing input for training as required.

What do I need?

To be successful in this role, you will have Financial Crime related experience derived from roles within either banking/consultancy/legal or government. Also, you will have a demonstrated knowledge of AML/CTF and other financial crime legislation, including key challenges, risks, trends in the regulatory environment, and understanding of institutional banking products.

You will have strong operational experience and demonstrated ability to develop and enhance solid processes and controls. Broad understanding of bank products and process, systems and policies are preferable across multiple business divisions.

You will have commercial acumen and experience dealing with and managing senior business stakeholders.
