The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Financial Planning Assistant to join our Bridges team. The Financial Planning Assistant is responsible for all administrative functions related to supporting Financial Advisors in the provision of market-leading, client-centric advice and ongoing service to new and existing clients.

Key responsibilities will include:
Building strong trusted relationships with advisers and clients.
Facilitating the implementation of advice and coordinating relevant paperwork.
Liaising with clients regarding the implementation and management of their portfolios, Including liaising with fund managers.
Communicating with clients and responding to client enquiries.
Data entry into Xplan, ensuring Client Records in Xplan are up to date and reconciling Xplan reports.
Monitoring placement of investment advice/strategy until fully implemented.
Ensure client files in adherence with required quality and compliance standards.
Identify and support to implement improvements to compliance and financial planning processes.
General office administration

The successful candidate will ideally possess:
Previous experience in a Client Service role within the financial planning industry
Outstanding attention to detail and process driven
Proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook
Experience with XPlan (Highly favourable)
Customer service orientated
High level of accuracy
Exceptional organisation and time management skills
Excellent verbal and written skills
Diploma in Financial Planning (RG146) is desirable.
