About the role

At Bentleys we are Thinking Ahead and our Innovation, Technology and Strategic Advisory team have created a unique footprint within the firm and through this have built a strong client base with opportunities that have some exciting twists! We have built capability within our team in providing both technical and strategic services to our clients; as such we are now looking for a Financial Analyst to help us continue this growth journey.

Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

· Development of financial models to analyse business performance, perform valuations, support client internal forecasting / planning, and/or support other growth initiatives for commercial clients and projects

· Business case modelling, capital budgeting and project financial feasibility analysis

· Interpretation, analysis and quantification of risks and scenarios, incorporating financial and investment metrics to support decision making

· Assist in preparation of various commercial reports / written deliverables and financial quantification for board executives

· Assist with other strategic advisory projects, including due diligence engagements, organisational capacity reviews, financial viability assessments, business improvement projects

· Liaising with clients throughout projects to collect information and low-level delivery of financial outcomes

· Mentoring and development of junior team members

· Report writing, financial analysis, data analysis and business analysis

About the Person

The role will suit a Business/Commerce graduate with Accounting and/or Finance major, who has been working in a financial analyst position for 1-3 years. This can be someone looking for either a part time or full-time position.

In addition to:

· Advanced Excel skills and knowledge of best practice financial modelling approaches

· Ability to interpret and articulate financial data into value add insights

· Understanding of accounting and financial principles

· Strong analytical and problem solving skills

· The ability to complete tasks effectively and on time

· Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills

· A customer service approach

· A positive attitude and the desire to contribute to a high performing team

· Written and verbal skills in communicating financial information to a broad audience
