Sheridans Accountants & Financial Planners Pty Ltd is a dynamic and growing financial services firm who hold their own AFSL with our offices located in Glenelg.

We require a self-motivated person with a team spirit to assist with day-to-day administration duties within our financial planning division.

Experience

A minimum of 3 years as a customer service assistant to a financial planner or 3 years administration or customer service in banking and finance.

Knowledge / Skill Areas

  • Extensive knowledge of the financial planning software Xplan with a sound understanding of Portfolio Modelling will be viewed favourably;
  • With the absence of Xplan skills, knowledge of CLASS Software may be advantageous;
  • Knowledge of platforms such as BT Panorama, Bell Potter Share Trading and Colonial First State will be viewed positively;
  • An awareness of ASIC legislation and compliance matters facing Financial Planners is important;
  • A minimum of intermediate level experience in using Word and Excel;
  • A sound knowledge of Financial Planning administration process.

Duties Include
  • Assist Financial Planners with administration and implementation of Investment and Insurance applications;
  • Maintain a follow up process of all applications for investments and insurances to completion;
  • Use and maintain Xplan and CLASS software;
  • Daily lodgement and monitoring of direct share trades and term deposits;
  • Check and process Annual Tax Statements for ETF's and LIC's in CLASS Software;
  • Deal directly with our clients to arrange review meetings and handle enquiries of an administrative or general nature;
  • Check and cross reference ongoing brokerage and fee income;
  • You will be part of a larger administration team (5 in total) and will be required to provide backup support to front office reception duo, as needed.
