Professional Experience / Qualifications sought

  • Buy Side investment analyst 3+ years experience preferred
  • Experience within the infrastructure sector is ideal but we will consider alternative sector coverage including Energy, Real Assets, Communications and Sustainable themes as well as those individuals with broader global equity market experience

  • Strong written skills with the ability to document and articulate investment ideas to the Investment Committee as well as a broader audience
  • Strong verbal skills, comfortable in engaging in a team environment, formerly presenting to the Investment Committee as well as Clients and Consultants, and the ability to interact and engage in a concise and robust manner with corporate representatives of potential investee companies right up to the CEO level.
  • Inquisitive by nature and have the ability to form both a macro and micro view on the sector and stocks covered, as well as have a global view to share with other team members during Investment Committee meetings
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team environment which fosters the expression of all views and healthy debate around recommendations and portfolio allocations
  • Must be a strong cultural fit for a small boutique operation where positive and collaborative team dynamics are crucial to our success
  • A willingness to pitch-in and help with tasks outside of your typical remit, adopting a team-oriented mindset
  • Willingness to travel internationally for 2-3 weeks at a time for company engagement required (subject to COVID restrictions)
  • An appropriate degree in finance or equivalent – an advanced degree in applied finance (or comparable) and/or CFA qualification will be highly regarded but not essential
