Source: uWorkin

How will I help?

The Credit Risk Valuations team works to ensure the asset quality of the Westpac Group is strong. It works with the business to make the right decisions and continuously innovates to deliver great customer experiences.

Reporting to the Senior Risk Manager for Credit Risk Valuations, you will be responsible for enforcing the risk framework in relation to residential mortgage valuations, ensuring practices are in line with bank valuation policy and broader industry standards. You will work to drive valuation quality and compliance through audit reviews, control testing, reporting and the provision of feedback to both internal and external stakeholders.

What’s in it for me?

In a word, lot! As well as job flexibility and the financial benefits for being part of the Westpac team (like special banking, wealth, and insurance offers) you will be paid well, and trained so your career can grow as you do. You will also be encouraged to take part in our fun community projects as a paid volunteer. Importantly you will play a significant role in the future of a business that has been around for 200 years.

What do I need?

You will have a risk management background gained in the residential mortgage/valuation industry, with a strong understanding of complex valuation methodology and industry requirements. Valuer qualifications such as RPV or CPV will be highly regarded (although not essential).

You will also have excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with a proven record of influencing outcomes.
