How will I help?
Reporting to the Head of Business Controls and CORE Transformation, you will play a pivotal role in assisting the team deliver regulatory and compliance programs. You will perform Line 1 controls for the division, as well as working with the wider team to drive multiple business control improvements as part of the wider CORE transformation program. You will partner with a range of stakeholders to assist in continual process improvement across risk frameworks.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

  • Demonstrate knowledge of the end-to-end controls process including identify, analyse, and review potential risk issues and design processes to alleviate potential problems.
  • Lead the review of risk requirements and manage the documentation of risk controls that will facilitate the desired outcome of delivering of solution.
  • Collaborate business partners and wider stakeholders to effectively communicate and coordinate risk management procedures and report on milestones.

What do I need?
A strong candidate will bring 3 years of risk controls/management and/or compliance experience (ideally in the institutional banking industry). You will have a curious mindset by nature and welcome high pressure, fast moving environments while bringing a strong analytical skillset across regulatory frameworks impacting the banking sector. You will enjoy partnering with stakeholders and work both autonomously and within several teams to not only complete objective but also foster a risk first culture. Prior experience with project delivery will be held in high regard as will those with high levels of passion and accountability.
