Our Team

Th e Australia and New Zealand Compliance team is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Compliance Manager to join the Central Compliance team. The Central Compliance team is responsible for providing expertise on all non-business specific compliance matters, and the ongoing enhancement and execution of the ANZ Compliance program. The position will report to the Head of Central Compliance and work closely with colleagues in the local and regional Compliance Teams, as well as the Business Management, Legal, Risk and Control functions.


  • Managing Licensing and Registration matters, including offshore entity Australian licensing applications;
  • APRA related matters and oversight of compliance with Prudential Standards and associated control framework;
  • Evaluating compliance with relevant regulations, identifying issues and assessing the impact of regulatory change ;
  • Interacting with regulators including handling of regulatory enquiries and preparation of regulatory submissions, inspection decks and notifications;
  • Co-ordinating the development and review of Compliance policies and procedures; assisting with drafting of policies as required;
  • Participating in industry regulatory group forums; and
  • Driving Compliance initiatives and projects to strengthen the Compliance Program

  • Degree qualified with a preference for a commerce and or/ legal discipline, along with a minimum 6 years financial services industry experience;
  • Knowledge or experience of local regulatory requirements and their practical application;
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills and the ability to manage several simultaneous projects; and
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to establish credibility and strong partnerships and work cohesively in a team environment
