How will I help?

As the Support Officer, Mortgage Broking you will be responsible for providing superior sales support to the team of St George Banking Group, Business Development Managers and their associated portfolio of Mortgage Brokers, to assist in the achievement of sales targets and growth in profitable business. You will Grow and maintain mutually beneficial business partnerships with key contacts, including Broker Mortgage Services, Customer Mortgage Services, Mortgage Central and Credit. You will also be responsible for supporting the Business Development Managers and their associated portfolio of Mortgage Brokers to achieve sales targets and support the Business Development Managers in relation to mortgage application issues and queries.

What do I need?

You will have strong knowledge of mortgage broker industry with ability to build relationships with internal partners. You will also have strong consumer mortgage product/process/policy knowledge as well as knowledge of compliance/audit frameworks. Credit experience is highly desirable.

Above all else, you will have exceptional communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced ambiguous environment and be passionate about building effective working relationships, delivering the best possible results for our customers and the organisation.
