How will I help?

Reporting to the Chief Risk Officer for Technology and Operations, this role exists to provide the combination of individual contribution and senior team leadership needed, to meet the Technology Risk function’s oversight, insight and control responsibilities.

You will be responsible for:

  • Provision of operational risk oversight, insight and control to stipulated policies and standards.
  • Operational risk contribution to divisional CRO coverage of divisional risks and issues.
  • Leadership and development of an Operational Risk team to the above ends.

What do I need?

You will have extensive experience, at least 10 years, in Technology Risk roles including senior management experience in a financial services organisation. The successful candidate will have demonstrable people leadership skills along with experience developing and executing strategy and influencing senior stakeholders.

We are looking for somebody with a strong understanding of risk concepts, frameworks, policies and procedures pertaining to technology risk, with particular expertise in infrastructure, Cloud and Application Development. Your high attention to detail, wiliness to challenge, commercial acumen and strong communication skills will see you succeed in this role.
