12-month secondment opportunity for an experienced Financial Crime Risk Remediation professional

About You

You are ready for a new opportunity that contributes to NAB’s fight against financial crime. You may be looking to enter the financial crime discipline for the first time, or re-enter after an absence. Alternatively, you might be looking to expand a baseline understanding of financial crime.

Think:

  • This role forms part of NAB’s financial crime remediation team helping to detect, disrupt and deter financial crime in our communities.
  • Working directly with our customers and our bankers, you will perform various due diligence activities including investigation, assessment, and preparing documentation.
  • You will need to assess complex corporate structures and apply processes efficiently and accurately.
  • Supported by your leaders and peers, you will need to make risk-based decisions and conduct a variety of tasks to ensure NAB has met its obligations and knows its customers.
  • You may need to overcome customer objections to providing information.
  • You will ensure SLAs and targets are met, sometimes daily.
  • You will be partnered with experienced subject matter experts and supported by leadership. You will receive exposure from engaging with bankers, customers, investigators, and compliance.

Your Skills and Experience

  • Strong communication (written and verbal) and customer management skills essential;
  • Experience in analysis and review of complex information or data;
  • Strong attention to detail essential;
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities;
  • Ability to effectively persuade or influence stakeholders;
  • Contact centre or telephony experience desirable but not essential;
  • Experience in operations or an equivalent high-volume environment desirable but not essential;
