Our data analysts deeply understand the power of data to generate quality customer insights, manage information and identify trends to accelerate sound business decisions.

Your mission is to derive compelling insights and identify opportunities to shape the direction of our customer and colleague experience during integration. You will be working within a cross functional team and driving end to end delivery of insights. The role doesn’t stop at producing insights - we take action and convert insights into outcomes, and we’re looking for a passionate analyst to join our team.

The purpose of the role is to deeply understand client needs and the business environment to design solutions to key integration challenges. Analysts will partner with stakeholders from across AR&C and ANZx using data to translate business problems into solutions.

What a Typical Day Might Look Like

  • Support the development and design of product decommissioning plans, including quantification of financial and people impacts
  • Working with finance to validate key financial assumptions
  • Develop strategies for client migration, including activating dormant clients and managing clients with off sale products
  • Perform deep-dives on specific business problems/opportunities and prepare PIRs
  • Leverage tools for optimal collaboration (across geographies) and knowledge sharing
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement solutions to perform more effective and efficient analysis

What will likely be in your toolkit?
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to communicate ideas to senior stakeholders
  • Data visualisation skills and experience using tools and languages such as SQL, Python, VBA, Excel (Advanced)
  • Excellent quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, and the ability to provide action-oriented recommendations
  • Extensive experience integrating and aggregating data from disparate sources to uncover insights
  • A desire to continuously learn new techniques / technologies and bring innovative ideas into the Squad
  • Subject matter expertise in banking products, distribution or digital technology
