Senior Manager, Risk Frameworks & Policy Management

How will I help?

Reporting to the Head of Risk Frameworks, Appetite and Prudential Governance, this role with play a pivotal part in the delivery of the CORE Program relating to Risk Frameworks and Policies. You will lead the review, approval and implementation of the Risk Management Framework and Risk Management Strategy ensuring its compliance with APRA Prudential Standard CPS 220.

You will review all risk class management frameworks (including new, annual reviews and biennial reviews for Board Risk Committee approval) to ensure ongoing compliance with the frameworks and strategy.

You will review risk policies (including new and annual reviews) to ensure ongoing compliance with the Risk Management Framework and Risk Management Strategy. This person will maintain an aggregated view of all risk policies that support the Risk Management Framework and Risk Management Strategy.

What do I need?

A strong candidate will bring relevant experience across either Line’s one or two Operational Risk to the table. This can come from Banking, or from an audit/consulting firm that has worked with clients across Banking clients. You will have experience in developing, reviewing and implementing Risk Management Frameworks and Policies and have working knowledge of APRA CPS 220 requirements.

You will hold stakeholder management skills and highly proficient with both your verbal and written communication. You will be asked to challenge and hold your own amongst some key people across the organisation and provide your thought leadership on several matters.
