In this demanding but rewarding role, you will help by leading and inspiring our team leaders to learn, develop and continually grow to deliver effective outcomes for our customer, stakeholders, and people. You will be joining the Mortgages Operations Team which sits within Group Operations and aligns to the Mortgages Line of Business.

You will be responsible and actively participate in building a proud culture that is passionate and high performing in delivering improvements that exceed customer expectations, meet financial targets, and comply with regulatory requirements. You will be committed to putting the customer first and will provide an exceptional service experience for our internal and external customers while building positive relationships.

What do I need?
You will need 4+ years of leadership experience, leading a complex business unit within an operations division. Ideally, you will have mortgage lending experience and be a critical thinker who is able to solve problems across complex environments utilising data and sound judgement. You will also need excellent communications skills, strong stakeholder management capabilities and an advanced knowledge of all things Risk & Compliance.

To be a strong candidate for this role, you must be able to demonstrate a track record for identifying and implementing Continuous Improvement initiatives in collaboration with stakeholders/partners across the end-to-end value chain. You must also be able to demonstrate advanced skills at Workforce Management – ensuring that you are always best placed to have the right skilled people, in the right place and at the right time to complete customer service requests within agreed service levels.
