About The Role

Role Location- 833 Collins Street, Docklands VIC 3008

Role Type- Permanent, Full-Time opportunity (40 hours/week)

The Business Analyst will provide requirements, risk and data analysis to enable ANZ’s Know Our Customer Centre of Excellence (KOC CoE) to meet compliance obligations and deliver an outstanding customer experience.

Our business analysts are one of the drivers behind our culture of continuous improvement and excellence. ANZ’s KOC CoE is a new part of the organization which is ensuring that ANZ is protecting our customer’s financial wellbeing and building resilience to fraud and financial crime. We’re currently seeking a number of talented business analysts to help guide our growth and investment. This is an exciting opportunity to join a team at its inception and be a key architect of our future success.

We’re building a diverse team and we’re looking for experienced business analysts who each bring their own skills and experience to the role. Whether your personal interest is in organizational design, process engineering, change management, data analysis, project analysis or even marketing we may have a role to suite you.

What might a ‘day-in-the-life’ of our business analysts look like?

  • Managing workshops with stakeholders from across the Retail and Commercial business to gain insights and stakeholder requirements.
  • Design of future business processes to help our operational teams protect our customers and community.
  • Elaboration of requirements, testing and implementation of new capabilities such as technology systems.
  • Participation in the design of customer journeys and development of customer value propositions and communications.
  • Analysis of operational and customer data.
  • Participation in the development of key performance indicators (KPI’s), gathering performance data and contribution to continuous improvement and productivity.

About You

To be successful in this role, will ideally bring the following-
  • University qualification in business or marketing
  • Experience as a Business Analyst in a financial institution
  • Experience in process mapping and conducting requirements gathering workshops. Writing ‘as-is’ and ‘to-be’ processes.
  • Experience writing business requirements documentation for projects or operational processes.
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders
  • ‘Know-your-customer’ (KYC) process experience in a financial institution is advantageous.
  • Data analysis experience is advantageous
