You will be responsible for supporting Adviser’s with developing strategies that meet their client's individual objectives, financial situation and needs. The role will entail completing research and writing a range of complex strategies that meet the clients’ requirements. You will write high quality, compliant and complex advice documents.

The Opportunity

This role will see you provide support to the advisors, you will work in a collaborative team environment which will assist the delivery of tailored, holistic advice to our clients.

In this role you will:

  • Report generation to support the client review process.
  • Liaise with external providers such as fund managers and insurers
  • Complete product research
  • Complete product comparisons
  • Performing financial modelling and insurance quoting
  • Assist in the development of strategies
  • Prepare financial projections/ reports
  • Write compliant, comprehensive and complex ROA's and SOA's
  • Ensure all advice documents adhere to compliance standards.
  • Prepare accurate strategic, technical, and legislative research for our advisers
  • Assist with the implementation of advice

About You

A motivated, hardworking and personable individual you will draw on existing financial services experience to contribute to our practice while continually seeking opportunities to further your knowledge.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Diploma of Financial Planning (or higher)
  • A minimum of 2 years experience as a paraplanner
  • Excellent communication organisation and time management skills
  • Experience using Plutosoft or willingness to learn
  • Experience in writing complex, compliant advice documents
  • Have previous experience dealing with holistic advice (Super, Pensions, Insurance, Investments, Estate Planning, Cash Flow Budgeting etc)
  • Technical strategy
  • Have a high knowledge of financial planning regulations and compliance
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Strong in compliance with strong attention to detail whom has initiative and can take ownership of their work.
  • Positive can-do attitude, proactive, enthusiastic with a strong work ethic.
