How will I help?

As a Senior Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Operational Risk Team by Providing an independent (2nd Line) view of the effectiveness of the business’s risk management practices and provide challenge where required. You will ensure that the correct evidencing and documenting of Risk oversight, insight and control is being completed and carried out appropriately, along with independent challenge as required.

Through providing specialist, outcome-focused risk and control advice, insight, and challenge that influences decisions, optimises risk-reward balance and contributes to the attainment of business strategy and objectives within risk appetite and legal parameters, you will continuously be supporting the Operational Risk Leaders in building and maintaining a high performing Operational Risk team.

What do I need?

The successful candidate will have extensive experience and knowledge of Operational Risk or Compliance advisory, with this experience ideally, coming from within the banking sector (or other highly regulated environments). Financial Services will be highly advantageous.

You are influential in your ways of working with senior business leadership teams and the wider security industry. You are strategic in your thinking and your ability manage competing priorities are second nature.

You enjoy working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment and have exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills and be able to appropriately elicit information, challenge, and influence stakeholders to enable the successful achievement of outcomes.
