Senior Analyst, Credit Risk Reporting and Governance – Risk Analytics and Insights

An opportunity exists for a Line 1 role in the centre of excellence (COE) Risk Reporting Governance team which builds capability to support enhancement and remediation of credit risk reporting process, validation and controls.

  • Support the Risk Reporting Analytics team
  • Work closely with Executive Manager Risk Reporting Governance

How will I help?

Reporting directly to the Executive Manager Risk Reporting Governance, you will be responsible for identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in reporting standards and the control environment.

Some of the other key responsibilities of this role are to:

  • Review reporting suite to ensure compliance tor Statutory, Regulatory, Prudential, Board and Senior management reporting
  • Ensure credit risk reporting is aligned to and supports Group and Divisional key risks and risk appetite statements
  • Work with Risk Reporting & Analytics teams to manage report controls and issues
  • Develop analysis and reporting standards and ensures these are adhered to rigorously
  • Recommend quality control processes and improvements
  • Support policy and project implementation
  • Risk assess credit risk reports and recommend prioritisation of report remediation builds
  • Develop business requirements for report remediation
  • Provide expert knowledge and collaborate with the Risk Reporting & Analytics teams to design and build dashboards/reports/papers

What do I need?

To succeed in this role, you need:

  • 6 to 9 years work experience
  • Audit/ Compliance experience Credit/ Finance
  • Knowledge of Credit analysis and reporting
  • Tertiary qualifications Commerce, Finance, Economics or relevant degree
  • Experience in SAS programming/ SQL
  • Experience working with large data sets
