How will I help?
As a Regulatory Response Advisor you will support the Head of Risk Governance – Platforms, Investments and Operations (PI&O) in assisting the Business to manage and respond to regulator queries and Notices from ASIC and APRA for the PI&O business. This role will be required to perform and monitor various tasks and processes to maintain compliance, as directed by the Head of Risk Governance PI&O.

You will be responsible for working with relevant stakeholder to draft and facilitate sign-off on regulator communications on behalf of the PI&O Business and manage a register of all regulator correspondence and associated evidence as well as managing several regulatory engagements simultaneously. You will also need to assist in the management of various compliance processes. Additionally, you will need to work with key stakeholders to identify and introduce more efficient risk processes to develop the risk culture within the team and seek to constantly improve the customer experience through delivery of a compliant and sustainable process.

What do I need?
To succeed in this role, you will need good technical skills in superannuation, experience in translating legislative and compliance obligations into business processes as well as product, risk or audit experience working with Super and/or Investment business. You will also have high analytical skills or previous experience in a regulatory reporting or product function coupled with an understanding of the Regulators and their areas of focus with the ability to translate this into actionable areas for the business. A degree in law or related discipline will be highly desirable.
