As a Senior Consultant you will be working closely with key partners on projects related to risk and compliance.

Key Accountabilities

  • Actively participate in project planning with project manager and account manager.
  • Ability to independently communicate with clients and advise them on various components relating to operational and compliance risk management framework.
  • Ability to document the current state of the process and control environment in accordance with the defined standards and create end to end process maps as per the requirement.
  • Develop granular documentation (SOPs., template and training materials) to support execution of the operating model.
  • Execute design assessment and operating effectiveness testing that is control testing along with creation of process risk & control matrix
  • Identify issues and develop recommendations based on identified weaknesses and support the business to develop rectification action plan to bring controls into alignment with risk appetite.
  • Develop status update report highlighting project achievements, delivery roadmap, risk and issues, challenges faced, way forward, etc.
  • Conduct regular status update meeting with relevant stakeholders to apprise them on the progress of the project deliverables and obtain feedback to ensure artefacts are as per the agreed quality standards
  • Generate initial leads for potential business development activities and pass them over to project manager for further discussion and actions.

Experience required for the role:

  • Risk advisory and Assurance domain experience in Banking and Financial Services along with working knowledge of Operational Risk and Compliance frameworks, GRC tools, Control Assurance policies & procedures and Internal Audits
  • Ability to work with complex business organisations and provide operational risk expertise and consulting for projects.

Skills required for the role:

  • Exception communication skills, both written & verbal.
  • Delivery focus – Strong ability to work towards deadline and manage multiple, potential conflicting timeframes whilst achieving timely delivery and a consistent customer service experience and demonstrate responsiveness towards client’s needs
