About The Role

Role Location- Parramatta NSW

Role Type- Permanent, full time role

As a District Executive - North West Sydney in Business Bank, your role is to lead a team of bankers to deliver on ANZ's aspiration to be the best bank for business owners wanting to start, grow and run a business. This proposition when executed well will generate strong customer outcomes and growth in Business Banking (BB) revenue and market share. As District Executive you will work closely with your District Credit Manager to deliver commercial outcomes aligned with the BB strategy and risk appetite statements. You will role model and drive significant transformation and behavior change for bankers including the use of data insights and adoption of new tools. You will represent BB both internally and externally (local government and media) to build ANZ’s reputation as a business enabler acting in the best interests of the community and customers.

Your focus and responsibilities include-
  • Delivery of ANZs aspirations through strong personal profile in market and in the recruitment and development of a team who care about the customer
  • Leading the customer focused origination and growth through strong sales practices and process disciplines
  • Accountability for the performance of the business across the balanced score card - People, Customer, Risk & Well Managed and Financial
  • Role model and foster a continuous learning culture, and
  • Co-develop and deliver a local strategy across all segments (Retail, Commercial, Corporate & Institutional) to see ANZ ‘face the market as one’.


About You

To be successful in the role, you will have the following-
  • Proven experience in leading, coaching, inspiring and developing a sales team
  • Solid experience in the Business/Commercial Banking industry
  • Possesses well developed credit and product knowledge
  • Proven ability in achieving results through relationship sales & customer service
  • In depth experience in developing business plans and revenue strategies to grow the business, particularly in a lending/credit environment
  • High level negotiation skills and an ability to influence positively
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of developing relationships across teams
  • Ability to think creatively and demonstrate initiative
