About The Role

Role Location- 242 Pitt Street, NSW

Role Type- Permanent, Full time

This role is responsible for processing requests from ANZ or other financial institutions to dishonour paper or electronic transactions. In addition, it is also responsible for investigating and resolving any 'Day 2' payment related enquiries, support/ perform cheque and voucher verification, retrieval and authentication processes as directed by the bank or our customers.

The Dishonours and Voucher Management functions must be accurate and timely to ensure that both internal and Banking Industry (APCA) SLAs are adhered to and the risk of financial loss to ANZ or its customer is minimised.

Payment Specialists require a Growth and Service-based mindset in order to deliver great customer outcomes whilst also maintaining discipline centred around ANZ, Industry and Regulatory standards

About You

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following-
  • Broad knowledge & understanding of bank's processes, systems and products specifically CAP, Cache, Visual, V2+, EODSF, Vision+, Carbe, Deposit Accounts, Cards, Direct Entry
  • Ability to use initiative and manage own time to contribute to achievement of SLAs for self and team
  • Excellent written and oral communication
  • Concern for Quality and Standards
  • Possess a service-based mindset with strong customer focus
  • Flexibility & Adaptability
