    Role Location- Melbourne- 75 Dorcas Street, South Melbourne
    Role Type- 24 (Twenty-Four) Permanent, Full time vacancies

    The purpose of this role is to assist ANZ in becoming the fastest and safest mover of funds both domestically and globally. This role ensures that ANZ customers spanning across all segments are provided with a quality, consistent and efficient payment experience, even when manual intervention is required.

    The role is responsible for the successful processing of Inward and Outward Domestic, Real-time Gross Settlement (RTGS), cross-border and clearing services Payments that fall into an exception handling queue.

    This is achieved through-
    • mastering standard operating procedures
    • doing things right the first time, demonstrating exemplary standards of quality
    • maintaining a high level of productivity
    • being curious and calling out suspicious transactions
    • Escalating where appropriate, informing team leaders and/or management of concerns and issues as and when they arise
    • demonstrating a basic level of knowledge in the Domestic and/or International Payments landscape including clearing streams such as SWIFT, RTGS, BECS and NPP
    • demonstrating a basic level of knowledge of Payments Industry standards such as SWIFT formatting and Financial Crime Standards
    • continuously looking for ways in which the customer experience can be enhanced.
    Payment Specialists require a Growth and Service-based mindset in order to deliver great customer outcomes whilst also maintaining risk discipline centered around ANZ, Industry and Regulatory standards.

    About You

    To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following-
    • Knowledge of Domestic and International Payment streams is preferred (SWIFT, RTGS, NPP, Direct Entry)
    • Excellent Written and Oral Communication
    • Basic level of understanding of Windows 10, Microsoft Office, Outlook.
