If you are looking for a highly engaging role that will support your sales drive and creativity, look no further! This global ecommerce investment firm have experienced continual organic growth and are now expanding their operations into the Australian market. They are on the hunt for an experienced Lead Generator to join their ranks as they move into their next phase of progression in Australia.

Working alongside the world’s largest e-commerce investor, they pride themselves on being the fastest, most affordable form of capital for start-ups. Currently in 5 countries, they’ve deployed over $1.6B into 4,000 businesses while funding eight times more women-founded companies than traditional VC’s. A true innovator in their field, they have created an entire new asset class where entrepreneurs don’t need to put up personal guarantees, collateral or give up a piece of their company in exchange for growth (like they would with banks or VC’s).

About the role:
Proactively generating leads through outbound self-prospecting.
Utilise multi-channel (social, professional networks, news articles) research and create an engaging and thought-provoking outreach.
Utilise scripts to educate and qualify leads.
Build custom and targeted communication plans for prospective clients.
Transfer qualified leads to the Business Development Managers on your team.
Immerse yourself in industry knowledge and market trends to become a subject matter expert for your customers.

About you:
0-2+ years sales experience in a Lead Generator/Outbound Sales position within media sales.
The ability to devise a target strategy in response to market trends.
A creative approach to cold outreach to each prospect that you encounter.
Career focused, creative thinker, problem-solver and hungry to succeed.
Driven personality with an eagerness to learn sales methodology.
An entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to 'think quick on your feet'.
