What impact will you have?

An excellent opportunity is available for you to join as an experienced Business Analyst within our Projects & Change team. As part of the wider Financial Management Group, you will be responsible for rebuilding our Liquidity Calculations & Reporting from the ground up, transitioning toward T+1 reporting and analytical capabilities.

To be successful, you will have subject matter expertise in Liquidity Reporting and must have the ability to forge and develop effective working relationships across a wide range of stakeholders. Prior experience as a business analyst on projects in the Liquidity or Treasury domain is highly advantageous, or a background in Financial Control or Product Control.

Currently in the initiation phase, this presents an excellent opportunity for you to shape the strategic direction of the project from the ground up. As part of a broader liquidity portfolio with further multi-year phases, an ability to hit the ground running, quickly build relationships, and understand new concepts will therefore be essential.

What skills will you use?

As an experienced Business Analyst with a Finance background, you will have demonstrated experience working as a part of a complex transformation initiative, ideally within a global bank or financial services organisation. Given the technical nature of the project, you will possess a thorough understanding of Liquidity Reporting and familiarity with finance products (e.g. derivatives & collateral, securities & secured financing.) Experience with Group Treasury change or Liquidity regulations would be highly regarded.

You will also:

  • possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and possess proven experience developing relationships with stakeholders at all levels
  • act as a key member of an agile project, responsible for identifying, documenting key functional and non-functional requirements
  • communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure that their requirements are understood, documented, & translated into reporting that meet business needs
  • be a subject matter expert on Liquidity and Financial Reporting concepts and central point of contact for knowledge sharing with other project members
  • produce high quality, detailed, and easily understandable documentation to support new solutions
  • track and monitor project deliverables against both external regulatory obligations and internal milestones commitments
  • identify and address risks and issues in a timely manner

Given the transformative nature of this project, you will possess a desire to learn new tools, techniques, and concepts, both technical and financial and will enjoy the challenge of solving complex problems. You will be self-motivated, independent worker who takes initiatives and can coordinate multiple assignments simultaneously. Finally, you will have a proven track record of successfully delivering project outcomes.
