The Process Design Officer role has been created within the Enterprise Program Management function of Homes Victoria to support the organisation to effectively deliver on its Big Housing Build and other commitments. Given the importance of the strategic programs being delivered, an effective program management capability enabled by effective policies and processes, is critical to ensure programs are effectively and proactively managed.
The role will work with the Senior Process Design Analyst and the other Homes Victoria branches to design, deliver and embed fit for purpose approaches to program, project, risk and performance management. Critical to the success of the role will an understanding of how to embed of new ways of working, utilise digital program management tools, such that all projects recognise the value of transitioning from current practices.

Are you:

  • An experienced process designer with a passion for effective program/project delivery or an experienced program/project manager with a passion for establishing consistent and effective practices?
  • Effective at collaborating to build effective program management procedures and practices that are fit for purpose and embed a proactive approach to managing costs, quality, schedules, and outcomes?
  • Experienced at understanding the processes that underpin all stages of the project lifecycle; stage gating requirements, milestone and benefit identification (preferably with experience of the High Value High Risk, HVHR, Project Assurance Framework)?
  • Passionate about the value and importance of maximising program outcomes while designing processes that are customer centric (always putting yourself in their ‘shoes')?
