About the role

We are looking for a financial adviser (risk specialist) to join our Victorian team. We are a growing business of 25 staff across 8 locations, specialising in quality life insurance advice to individuals, SMEs and large corporates. We are focused on setting ourselves apart by providing the highest quality advice and amazing service to our clients.

Your role will be at the forefront of the business, providing risk advice to new and existing clients, managing our key referral partner relationships, and working as part of a team to grow or business.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Working with clients to develop holistic risk strategies, taking in all aspects of risk management.
  • Work with our support team to research and develop appropriate recommendations.
  • Work closely with our key referral partner, to cultivate a relationship of confidence, trust, and mutual support.
  • Adhere to the compliance framework outlined by ASIC, our licensee, and our business.

About the successful candidate

As with all roles it is important you have the right knowledge and skills, however what is most important to us is the right mindset. We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual who is excited about the prospect of building a career in our industry and working with a great team.

  • 2 years industry experience.
  • DFP & ADFPP required.
  • Complete, or on track to complete FASEA exam.
  • FASEA approved qualifications, or a pathway in place.
  • Experience in the use of XPLAN and industry quoting tools preferred.
  • Understanding of current insurance product offers.
  • Excellent communication; both written and verbal.
  • Highly organised with strong administration and time management skills.
  • Willingness to travel regionally where required.
