    • Conduct Risk Specialist (Group Risk)
    The Role
    We have 2 exciting new roles which are perfect for risk professionals with a passion for conduct/customer risk. In these Group Line 2 roles, you will support the enhancement of the way IAG identifies, assesses and manages Organisational Conduct and Customer Risk (OCCR) outcomes through our products, processes and services. You will ensure the alignment of commercial business practices (new and existing) to customer-centric objectives and support a culture that allows for effective OCCR management.

    Key Responsibilities

    Support the Manager for Organisational Conduct and Customer Risk by
    • Implementing the OCCR monitoring and oversight plan against an agreed upon set of deliverables and timeframes, and monitoring adherence to these objectives
    • Supporting the OCCR monitoring and oversight program’s OCCR Deep Dive Reviews by assessing, advising and challenging Line 1
    • Identifying and recommending actions to increase effective OCCR management knowledge, practice and risk culture across IAG
    • Supporting the wider team through the formulation of OCCR insights, drafting OCCR reporting to Board and Risk Committees
    • Researching legislative change and conducting ‘best practice’ impact assessments for OCCR with recommendations for the OCCR strategy
    • Embedding the Group OCCR Framework and Group OCCR Standard (‘Policy Suite’), including providing SME advice on its implementation
    • Continuously monitoring the OCCR Policy Suite to identify gaps for remediation or continuous improvement opportunities for further enhancement
    • Providing SME guidance and advice on system functionality as it relates to OCCR Policy Suite requirements
    • Supporting the refresh of broader risk architecture such as the Risk Maturity Model, Risk Appetite Statement, and Risk Management Strategy to ensure consistency of approach and adherence to Board-agreed OCCR objectives
    • Supporting the currency and maintenance of the foundational OCCR training as part of the agreed capability uplift plan
    Skills & Experience
    • Relevant industry experience (5+ years in Risk Management). Conduct and customer risk experience highly desirable
    • Demonstrated excellent stakeholder management and communication skills essential
    • Understanding and experience in risk assurance roles, controls testing or auditing experience, including authoring related reporting highly desirable
    • Ability to think strategically and implement practically essential
    • Outcomes focused, and results driven, proven success in the delivery of key programs of work essential
    • Ability to reset expectations, respond swiftly to changes and visualise outcomes essential
    • Relevant industry or professional memberships or qualifications (for example ANZIIF or AS/NZ ISO 310002009 Risk management - principles and guidelines) desirable.
