Your new role
In your new role as a Customer Due Diligence Officer you will be reviewing new to bank individual customer profiles for KYC checks. You will be working with relationship/onboarding bankers to ensure compliance is achieved and will record findings in order to provide management with information about the capability and quality of onboarding by bankers.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Deliver accurate reviews of new to bank customer profiles with a focus on compliance
  • Work with Financial Crime Operations Customer Due Diligence teams to ensure objectives are met
  • Capture accurate information of the compliance reviews to ensure accurate reporting
  • Contribute to continuous improvements
  • Provide clear and concise communications to front link bankers where instances requiring rework are identified
  • Meeting demands of work allocation and manage workflow to ensure outstanding matters are identified

This role is a 6-month temporary assignment with a view to extend and possibly become permanent. The hourly rate is $31 + super and it is a full-time position from Monday to Friday.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful in this role you will have:
  • Outstanding attention to detail
  • Ability to work in an agile environment
  • Previous work experience in banking or financial services (preferred)
  • Previous administration experience
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to communicate with multiple different stakeholders
