Job Description

How will I help?

The CORE Program is Westpac’s comprehensive, Group-wide transformation program to improve Customer Outcomes and Risk Excellence (CORE) and strengthen the management of risk across the group.

The Business Implementation Manager is responsible for supporting the planning, execution and governing of organisation-wide implementation for the CORE program.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing end to end forward view of quarterly deliverables
  • Supporting the facilitation of Activity Summaries which outline the requirements of Activities scheduled into the quarterly package
  • Monitoring and tracking delivery through preparation and review of monthly status reports, and escalating risks and issues as required
  • Engaging, informing, influencing and negotiating with stakeholders, particularly Divisional Leads
  • Reviewing key evidence artefacts including a consistency and comprehensiveness check along with provision of insights on change adoption

What do I need?
  • Proven experience in problem-solving, business and data analysis
  • Experience in business-oriented roles supporting change implementation
  • Ability to drive initiatives into and/or across businesses and achieve outcomes
  • Ability to build rapport with others easily, adapting communication style to suit the individual and situation
  • Structured and organised approach, including excellent attention to detail
