About the role

As our Analyst within the Controls Assurance space, you will be mingling with our largest business unit, our Operations peeps here at ME, to identify and execute on opportunities to optimize our controls assurance environment.

You’ll also be responsible for the development and execution of the Annual Controls Assurance as well as working closely with our senior Business leaders to develop an effective control environment that effectively mitigates their risks. As our lead you will directly influence the Leadership team and other senior stakeholders in the business (including projects) to be highly collaborative across the business and continuously striving for improvements. Yup – this is a pretty important role!

About you

Policies, procedures, assurance and controls are all words you live and breathe! You’re an advocate for behavioural and cultural change and your problem-solving skills are on point! You not only know how to speak up and report issues, but you also have the knack to resolve them efficiently and effectively – yip, you bring tried and proven solutions to the table!

You have a passion for identifying errors and control breakdowns through the use of data and by actively engaging with ME peeps from across the business - and it goes without saying that you love providing insights and suggestions on controls improvements so that we can learn and mature. And of course, you support a strong compliance and risk management culture - I mean, who doesn’t?
