The Opportunity

As a Reconciliation Officer your role is to identity reconciliation issues and assist various operational teams in resolving the issues to ensure that client portfolios are recording correct security and cash balances.

Some Of The Key Tasks For The Role Include
  • Reconciliation of listed Australian shares and Cash Management Accounts.
  • Liaising with the network with regards to transaction processing and discrepancy resolution.
  • Updating transactional data on client portfolios for completeness of information and resolving queries from the adviser network.
This role is a part time opportunity - working five days per week, 9:30am - 2:00pm and is a on 12 month fixed term contract.

What You Will Bring

You will thrive in the role if your strengths include:
  • High level of attention to detail with good numeracy skills and ability to reconcile data
  • Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment to work to timeframes and deadlines
  • Solutions-focused approach to resolving challenges and issues
  • Self-motivated whilst being proactive and displaying a sense of urgency
  • Possess a basic understanding of Portfolio Management principles and processes
  • Strong computer skills, including Excel, and the ability to quickly pick up new systems
  • Team first approach
Having experience within the financial services sector (or within a managed fund provider) and in back-office portfolio management functions (such as transaction processing) would be a bonus!
