The role of a Client Service Officer to assist with the management of a portfolio of clients where custody services are provided across a variety of asset classes, specifically mortgage assets and real property assets

What will you be doing?

Sounds interesting? Here are some specifics about the opportunity:

  • First point of contact across client portfolio
  • Ongoing record management for assets held under client portfolio, including the recording of assets and related documents and transactions
  • Daily preparation of execution documents, which may include printing, basic review, providing to attorneys to sign, scanning/posting and recording the documents executed
  • Ongoing safekeeping of asset-related documents, including receiving and recording of documents, handling delivery to/from vault locations, and release of documents to third parties
  • Monthly and quarterly reporting to clients
  • Annual reconciliations across the assets for each client under the portfolio
  • Assist with testing and sample provisions across internal and external control testing and audits

What you will need to succeed:

To be considered for this opportunity, your qualifications, skills and experience could include:

  • At least 2 years’ experience working in a similar client service role is favourable
  • Experience working in mortgage administration preferred
  • Effectively build and maintain trust and rapport with internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrate a drive for technical knowledge. Demonstrate a passion and pride in delivering successful outcomes.
  • Diligent, accurate, careful and ability to work in a fast-moving environment and in charge of time management
