JOB DESCRIPTION

The purpose of the Credit Cards and Personal Loans mission is to Deliver best in class unsecured lending products and experiences, that provide the best way to pay and borrow for our customers.

As a Product Owner, you enable and inspire a multi-disciplinary team ('Squad') to pursue its mission, by guiding them on 'what' work should be completed by the squad and ‘why’. The Product Owner constantly prioritises the squad’s backlog with the customer at the heart of their decision-making. They take responsibility for the full life-cycle of a product from inception through to development, launch and support.

The squad will be responsible for delivering the Merchant Funded Offers (MFO) project for credit cards and work closely with the CCPL Customer Engagement squad and other ANZ delivery partners to understand business requirements, and implement the supplier solution end-to-end (e2e) across ANZ impacted systems/teams and follow the ANZ Delivery Framework as well as standard Product Management Policy requirements. The main touchpoints will be-

  • Establishing Card transaction data sharing and info sec approvals
  • Establishing and e2e presentment of offer process from supplier into Day 1 marketing channels (SMS & email)
  • Scoping Day 2 requirements with ANZ App & IB if channels are ready to commence discussions (dependent on prioritization of CCPL projects with channels)
  • Establishing partnership and supplier management
  • Change impact and support through to launch including ANZ staff training requirements
  • Establish e2e process including servicing and escalations with supplier & ANZ
  • Launch the Day 1 proposition in market to Credit Cards (potentially Debit Cards and Business Credit Cards)
  • Handover to business BAU team upon completion of the MFO project (Customer Engagement squad)

What You Bring To The Product Owner-
  • Demonstrable 5+ years experience or expertise in one or more of the following disciplines- Product Management, Business Analysis, Change Management and Implementation
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to effectively influence outcomes in an autonomous way
  • Ability to explore customer needs in a data-driven way, develop and implement innovative solutions, test the outcomes, and iterate.
  • A good understanding the Financial Services industry (including the relevant regulators and governing frameworks). Ideally you would also have some exposure to Credit Cards and Personal Loans.
  • Vision + experience preferred but not essential for the right candidate
  • An intense passion and curiosity for customers, their needs and wants and putting them at the center of everything you do
  • A desire to optimize customer journeys and experiences

This is a Full-time, 12-month Fixed-term Opportunity.
