The Role

Your new role will involve assisting our senior finance lenders with processing home and commercial loan applications. This includes workshopping client scenarios with over thirty lenders, collecting and preparing supporting documentation, liaising with clients, and ensuring timely progress of applications through to settlement. You will be integral in supporting the wider loan processing team to ensure client satisfaction and achievement of sales targets.

Your new role will involve coordinating loan applications to support your supervising broker, workshopping client scenarios with lenders, collecting and preparing supporting documentation, liaising with clients, and ensuring timely progress of applications through to settlement. You are the driving force of each client’s application and will be responsible for ensuring all administrative and compliance checks are met. 

Key responsibilities: 

• Communicating with bank and lender assessors and receiving inbound credit calls

• Workshopping client scenarios with lenders and your supervising broker

• Preparing client loan applications and submitting through Apply Online

• Managing client files and recording information in Mercury, ensuring all compliance is met 

• Writing up credit memo’s to lenders

• Responding to pends and submitting any requested documentation to lenders

• Calculating servicing on new deals

Traits and requirements:

• 1yr+ experience in lending or broking

• Great customer service skills and professionalism

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Action oriented and conscientious 

• Organised and accountable 

• Team player with positive, energised attitude
