Job Description

How will I help?

  • Work with data in all formats to develop performance reports, operational reports and design dashboards.
  • Extract, transform and load data into other platforms as required (eg. MS SQL, Power BI)
  • Identify ways to drive improvement and automation of analytical processes.
  • Storytelling with data at Risk Committees and Senior Management level
  • Contribute to ensuring the divisional and business operations and risk management practices align to the frameworks, policies, risk strategy, regulatory obligations, and appetite of the Group.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development and continuous improvement of FM’s control environment and more broadly the FM Risk function.
  • Liaise with key stakeholders to determine complex risks and design analytical solutions in response to these risks.
  • Develop and lead the delivery of relevant communications to explain the output of work and data analysis.
  • Support business development activities including preparing proposals and participating in presentations, building solid business controls, developing dashboard insights, and supporting material.

What do I need?
  • 3- 5 + years’ experience working with the analysis of data from complex / disparate data sets and systems
  • Technical hands on experience with SQL based tools (e.g. Tableau, SQL Server or SSMS). Additional programming skills such as Python are desired but not essential
  • Strong problem solving, analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Risk and compliance experience desirable
