Job Description

How will I help?
As an analyst, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the business control and monitoring team, by assisting the management of their risk profile including adherence to the risk frameworks, policies, and controls across the superannuation division. The purpose of your new role will be to ensuring the divisional and business operations and risk management practices align to the frameworks, policies and strategy of the Group. BCM is responsible for driving the division’s focus on first line risk, helping to quickly identify issues.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Work under the guidance of other risk professionals to understand risk and compliance policies and obligations and ensure business operations, risk management practices are aligned to the wider Group.
  • Develop, deliver and provide support for relevant communications to Superannuation and Business division about risk, controls and compliance obligations.
  • Conduct data analytics to provide insights on controls, issues and incidents to assist Consumer and Business division in appropriate risk and control management, while maintaining reports, dashboards and presentations.
  • Any adhoc duties as they arise.

What do I need?
A strong candidate will bring 2-3 years’ experience in a large and complex organisation, primarily in the financial services or superannuation industry. You will bring strong technical skills across planning coordination and reporting, whereby you can clearly articulate information, having intermediate skills across Excel, Word and PowerPoint with data analytics and visualisation . You will also be competent in understanding regulatory frameworks surrounding the banking industry. Lastly, the ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment will set you up for success.
