How will I help?

The Business, Controls and Monitoring team is responsible for supporting the Business Division on all risk and controls matters. You will be assisting with the implementation of solutions to risk and control problems, and working with the team to develop a consistent and high quality control environment for risk classes across Business Lending through:
  • Mapping and documenting existing controls within Business Lending.
  • Overseeing and providing feedback on controls self-assessments.
  • Identifying opportunities to enhance and streamline the controls.
  • Ensuring control monitoring is in line with Group standards.
  • Assisting with identification of common controls across the line of business teams that can be standardised or centralised.

You will provide risk expertise to the business in the identification, assessment and actioning of risk issues to drive a strong risk culture that helps achieve business objectives. You will provide insights and reporting for risk committees and board risk committees. In addition, you will coach and support the business to build greater risk awareness and capability.

What do I need?

You must have operational risk/compliance advisory and risk management, legal or compliance experience. You must have relevant industry qualifications (risk, compliance or business related).
