Our Compliance team is currently looking for a Compliance Manager - Financial Crime to develop, maintain and operate an effective local Compliance Management system (GRC) in accordance with the global BMW Group Compliance requirements. In this role you will manage, monitor and drive the GRC framework across BMW Australia Finance.

What awaits you?

  • You will be the SME in relation to Financial Crime and guiding the business on Compliance Regulatory Requirements for the GRC Platform, integrating the GRC system into the business
  • You will be the AML Officer to achieve compliance of Australian specific Anti Money Laundering/ Counter Terrorism Finance laws/regulations and BMW Privacy Corporate Rules and Binding Corporate Rules
  • You will monitor and assist with the maintenance and improvements of the GRC system to ensure it remains effective and that reviews of the registers, and access are conducted periodically
  • You will provide support with maintaining the local Compliance Management Framework requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelors of Commerce/Business/Laws preferred and Certificate IV in Financial Services / Compliance also preferred
  • Several years' experience in the Automotive Finance industry, Financial Services industry, or in a Compliance function
  • Good working knowledge of NCCP, Anti Money Laundering / Counter Terrorism Financing, Privacy, Fraud Management, Anti-trust, Anti-bribery and Consumer Law.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of compliance concepts, practices, principles and procedures and a strong understanding of compliance obligations, emerging changes, issues and opportunities in financial services
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, evaluative, and objective critical thinking skills.
