Multiple (2) rewarding and challenging opportunities exist for highly experienced property and infrastructure transaction advisers within the Commercial Development Unit in the Housing Growth and Commerical Development Branch of Homes Victoria. The Principal Transactions Advisers will be part of a collaborative and innovative team focused on structuring and developing the business case assessments for the Big Housing Build.

The Principal Transactions Advisers will lead the development of business cases, commercial and financial analysis, funding structures and commercial development models for property and infrastructure projects to be delivered in partnerships between Homes Victoria and third-party partners. This includes developing financial structures, financial analysis, commercial transactions, deal structuring (including tax, legal, security and financial), commercial negotiations and stakeholder management.

Are you:

  • Experienced in developing funding structures and commercial development models for projects to be delivered in partnership arrangements between Homes Victoria and third parties
  • Experienced in structuring commercial infrastructure deals including tax, legal, security and financial negotiations
  • An experienced strategic thinker with a demonstrated ability to apply strategic financial assessment and risk management frameworks and principles?
  • Experienced in providing stakeholder engagement and relationship building with a range of commercial, community and government partners?
