The Opportunity

Due to an exciting growth phase, Centric is seeking Transitions Manager to join our Investment Platform. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity with the flexibility of being based in either Sydney or Melbourne for the right person.

The Transition Manager’s role is vital to ensuring a smooth transition of client’s assets onto the Centric platform. The role requires the highest level of care, clear communication, exceptional stakeholder management and effective project planning, to ensure a positive client experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, document and coordinate the client/platform transition strategy
  • Identify and mitigate risks during transition planning
  • Assist advisers to onboard clients with the preparation of transition forms
  • Liaise with key stakeholders to ensure readiness for each transition
  • Design, implement and monitor transitions
  • Manage key relationships internally and with other platform providers
  • Ensure clear and timely communication to all stakeholders including succinct reporting on transition progress

We are seeking someone with the following skills and experience:

  • Demonstrated experience in transition management (desirable)
  • Understanding of platforms and investments such as equities, fixed income, bonds and managed funds
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent relationship building skills and the ability to use relationships to uncover and develop opportunities
  • Demonstrated project management capabilities
  • Ability to think creatively to solve problems and to thrive on challenges requiring innovative solutions
  • Approachable demeanour with the ability to resolve conflicting priorities and issues in a considered manner
  • Positive, proactive and results driven
  • Stakeholder management, planning and timely decision making
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Highly organised and able to manage competing priorities
