How will I help?

The job exists to support the relevant Head Of and the Senior Manager in the delivery of value-add strategic & specialist advice to the Platforms Investments & Operations and Super business unit.

Key responsibilities include;

  • Support the senior manager finance and the relevant head of finance to meet the financial & strategic requirements of the relevant business
  • Assist with pricing analysis for dealer groups and products across BT Wrap, Asgard,& Panorama
  • Develop and refine financial models to support the various pricing analysis requests
  • Support the business in product and platforms pricing negotiations through financial modelling and analysis and advice.
  • Produce Platforms Profitability analysis which encompasses product, channel and dealer groups views and leverages activity based costing processes to the business with strategic insights.
  • Assist projects (e.g. Panorama Pricing) and ad-hoc requests from the business and produce relevant business case, pricing analysis and financial models
  • Assist the delivery of meaningful, accurate and timely financial information that integrates product / transaction / channel / customer metrics and outputs.
  • Assist the development of models/ databases to capture, maintain and project information.
  • Establish and maintain effective consultative relationships with respective business partners (GM-1, GM-2)
  • Review business cases for new initiatives and track associated benefits
  • Identify process improvements and either implement these or communicate to management.
  • Work effectively with other finance counterparts and the business to create an efficient, customer focussed finance function.
  • Responsible for adherence to compliance requirements and external regulations.

What do I need?
  • Tertiary qualifications in appropriate discipline.
  • Professional qualifications desirable – ACA, CPA, CIMA or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated background in working with others to achieve outcomes.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Detailed knowledge of financial modelling skills.
  • Detailed knowledge of accounting practices within the finance industry.
  • Working knowledge of wealth management industry/ products / channels.
  • Detailed knowledge of key business drivers, performance metrics
  • Strong database skills – extraction/ query
  • 4-7 years experience in finance environment
  • Technical skills; Microsoft Tools, Financial Accounting MIS reporting systems, Database – MS Access, SQL intermediate, Excel skills – Advanced, some understanding of VBA
