The Commercial Banking (CB) & Major Client Group (MCG) Specialised Industries and Credit Risk team work with the CB & MCG Leadership Team, CB & MCG business and other business partners and stakeholders across the group to support in the achievement of the Business Bank’s vision and execution of our Strategic Priorities.

The Business Development & Operations team work across a wide range of initiatives and projects that involve enhancing the customer experience, sales capability initiatives, large change management projects, leveraging new technology and tools as well as product and process enhancements to improve and simplify the way we do business.

Do Work That Matters

This Senior Manager role is focused on developing and driving successful outcomes for a range of initiatives that assist in execution of the CB & MCG strategic priorities as well as providing proactive day to day business support to the CB & MCG businesses

The Business Development & Operations team has a significant role to play in ensuring:
  • Project & change initiatives are delivered effectively, minimizing disruption for frontline staff thus allowing them to focus on servicing customer needs;
  • Relevant controls and support frameworks are implemented to embed change effectively; and
  • The risk culture and capability is continually improved.

More Specifically, You Will
  • Proactively represent CB & MCG on a range of priority projects and change programs, taking ownership of the end to end process and ensuring the needs of our customers remain at the centre of all key decisions.
  • Drive and successfully implement strategic and operational change for CB & MCG that leads to improved internal and external customer outcomes.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key Business Partners and Stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle to drive and influence positive outcomes for the CB & MCG businesses.
  • Identify and assess the risks of change implementation and provide early escalation where appropriate and required. Plan and execute risk mitigating procedures.
  • Provide regular, proactive communication on up-coming and in-flight initiatives to the CB & MCG business and Senior Stakeholders where required.
  • Work collaboratively with CB & MCG frontline teams with a high level of engagement to ensure successful outcomes of change programs.
