About The Role

Role Location- 839 Collins Street, Docklands VIC 3008

Role Type- Permanent - Full Time

In this role, you will undertake stress tests and forecasts of the key credit metrics for the retail segments of the Group. This will involve-
  • Improving the efficiency, consistency and accuracy of the credit metric forecast estimates (IP, CP, IEL, Eco Cap and RWA and related balance sheet categories).
  • Managing and understanding the impacts of economic, business, regulatory, methodology and other changes on credit metrics and forecast/stress test outcomes.
  • Assisting in the completion of credit metric operational plans, forecasts and stress tests, examining the credit performance of the Bank’s retail customers and their associated credit products.
  • Undertaking value add deep dive analysis into portfolio credit loss performance to support business decision making and improve future forecast modelling.
  • Your role is also required to support other Enterprise Risk initiatives from time to time.


About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following-
  • Ability to form close working relationships with a variety of business, technical and other experts.
  • Ability to influence/negotiate at all levels of the organisation and across geographies.
  • Excellent problem solving skills with tertiary qualifications in economics / mathematics / statistics.
  • Strong data knowledge and programming skills.
  • Intermediate modelling skills.
  • Deep understanding of the banks business activities in a Retail environment and related risk requirements.
  • Expert knowledge of the Group’s credit metric methodologies and processes and related accounting standards.
  • An ability to maintain delivery to tight timelines.
