We now have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced Credit Assessor in the banking area of Australian Unity, where you will be responsible for assessing and making decisions on residential and investment mortgage loans, personal loans, credit cards and (some) commercial loan applications.

The key component of the role is the application of a ‘Delegated Lending Authority' in order to approve or decline loans based on their unique credit aspects whilst meeting the requirements of the organisation's lending policy, guidelines and credit risk appetite.

The remit of the role will cover the following areas:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • An enquiring mind and an analytical approach
  • Relationship building expertise
  • Strong communication skills

A sound understanding of the flow of funds within more complex borrowing structures, particularly the analysis of business, company and trust financials where multiple entities are involved will be highly regarded. Accordingly, applicants with some Business, Commercial or Private Bank lending exposure are strongly encouraged to apply.

Your work at Australian Unity will be focused on helping others to thrive, and so we seek to create a work environment that supports you to thrive in your career.
