The Division

The Customer Strategy and Technology team within Transport leads the development of long-term, multi-modal strategies, plans and policies across NSW. We leverage data and insights, implement new technologies, drive innovation and build partnerships to provide customer-centred solutions.


The opportunity

Right now, we have a vacant position for Financial Performance Analyst to join the Technology and Innovation Team. The role is till 30/06/2022. Work from Home option available.


What you will be involved in:

  • Provide financial reporting support to T&I branch management and work with area managers to prepare accurate reporting on all aspects of financial performance.
  • Ensure proper month end financial close, asset capitalization and timely billing and revenue, and advise branch leads on financial risks and appropriate resolution to identify emerging trends for monthly forecast.
  • Continuously analyse and improve systems, processes and derived insights to deliver valuable information and advice for business planning and operations.


About you

You will hold tertiary qualifications in either Accounting/Finance and have demonstrated experience in budget, forecasting and accruals. The ideal candidate will also have good interpersonal skills and attention to detail, have demonstrated ability to work in a team, and great organisational and time management skills.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is Grade 8 ($118,015 to $132,176) per annum plus superannuation and leave loading.
