As part of the Group Risk Services function, you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of the suite of CFS Group operational risk and compliance risk policies and framework. This role will also drive the rollout of framework changes across the CFS Group

On Any Given Day, You Will

  • Develop and maintain CFS Group financial and non-financial operational and compliance risk policies, frameworks and establish Group standards and guidance documents and templates that are fit for purpose, promote consistency, meet 3LOA requirements and are reflective of best practice
  • Champion ‘member first’ and ‘should we’ mindset
  • Manage the rollout implementation of the policy suite within CFS
  • Support the process to manage policy and framework changes, including policy feedback coordination and prepare gap analyses and/or impact assessments where necessary
  • Work with the Corporate, Superannuation and Investments CRO’s to facilitate the setting and cascade of Board-approved Group Risk Appetite Statement (RAS) including analysis, tracking and reporting on the RAS across the Group
  • Risk Appetite Review and record BU framework/policy exemptions and non-compliance, using various registers (e.g. Policy Exemption register)
  • Support NFRC and Board Policy review and approval processes
  • Support the development and rollout of risk awareness program and risk induction program across the CFS Group
  • Maintain independence as a Line 2 function when executing all responsibilities
  • Monitor policy compliance, in line with Group frameworks, policies and procedures and advise and report on Line 1 embedment of frameworks and policies

We’re Interested In Hearing From People Who Possess
  • Experience in a similar role developing and maintaining operational risk and compliance risk policies and frameworks
  • Demonstrated experience in Risk, Compliance or Legal within Banking/Financial Services (background in superannuation or funds management will be deemed highly advantageous)
  • Ability to demonstrate independence, provide oversight and challenge stakeholders on decisions and processes regarding strategy and compliance
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple and senior level stakeholders with strong communication skills
