Certe Wealth Protection, one of Australia’s premier, service-focused insurance advisory practices are looking for an experienced Life Insurance Adviser to work with our prosects and clients to provide them with sound insurance Advice.

About the Role

The role will involve developing and extending existing relationships:

  • Within the Corporate Group Insurance space,
  • With existing and newly developing external Private Client referral sources, and
  • With our existing clients, by way of ongoing service and advice,


To open new prospect opportunities and generate leads.


Key Responsibilities & Skills of your role

  • Strengthen business relationships already established within the Certe network to generate new Private Client leads – our mission is to help and advise more ideal clients;
  • Continue relationships with existing private clients and provide them with appropriate levels of service & advice reviews;
  • Ability to help identify and address the client’s needs, objectives and potential risks;
  • Provide sound compliant advice to our clients that is in their best interest and which can evolve to their changing circumstances;
  • Adhere to the processes already implemented within Certe;
  • Meet (with the ambition to exceed) client retention, prospecting & revenue targets;
  • Provide ongoing reporting about activity and business relationships;
  • Work competently & effectively as an individual while flourishing in a team and collaborative environment;
  • Be a natural communicator, be a willing relationship-builder, be willing to challenge yourself to grow, work hard, to be a key member of the team, be competent and experienced in 1-1 client situations, prospect situations and address larger audiences in our corporate clients.
  • Provide clear communication within the Certe team and integrate to our culture;


Knowledge and Experience Requirements

  • Related tertiary degree is desirable
  • Minimum qualifications to provide advice with a willingness to continue further studies
  • Have at least 2 years’ experience in a financial advice role, with key focus on insurance advice
  • Strong insurance technical knowledge and relationship skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to all Certe’s stakeholders
  • Be self-driven who can work well within an autonomous environment
