The Role

The Sales Assessment Team Leader is an integral role within Homestar Finance, reporting into the Head of Retail Distribution and is at the forefront of our sales and customer service offering. This sales role is focused on leading a team of sales assessment officers for inbound and outbound calls, offering our suite of home loan products and enabling quality conversions .

The role is responsible for pre-qualifying leads, selling our home loan product and scheduling customers interviews with one of our amazing home loan specialists. Some of the duties involve:

  • Leading a high performing sales team
  • Lead management 
  • Process improvement
  • Quality assurance and training in sales and credit knowledge
  • Providing the best customer experience so the customer comes back again and refers their friends and family


Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have 2+ years of sales experience
  • Credit policy knowledge
  • Successful completion of a Certificate IV in Finance Mortgage Broking (desired)
  • Exceptional sales conversions and sales target focused
  • Customer focused, strong communication and rapport building skills
  • Confident, positive manner especially over the phone
  • A great work ethic and be a go-getter
  • Self-motivated, result driven and proactive
  • Knowledge of Salesforce is a benefit
